CMP’s Quebec Facility Sustains ISO 9001:2000 Certification
CMP – QC’s Quality Management System Successfully Passes Annual Audit Conducted By QMI, a North American Leader in Quality Management Systems Registration.
April 24, 2007
Chateauguay, Quebec - ISO’s (International Organization for Standardization) current globally recognized quality management standard, ISO 9001:2000 applies to companies that design, develop, manufacture, install and service products. To achieve certification, companies’ control and effectiveness of their quality management system must meet certain standards.
CMP received no non-conformances and was commended for their continuous improvement efforts. The auditor was especially impressed by the consistent and frequent upgrade in their technology as well as the dedication and involvement of CMP employees across all departments.
“We are extremely pleased with the results of the audit,” comments Adrian Jordan, Corporate Director of Quality at CMP. “It reflects our commitment to total quality improvement and overall continuous improvement. Our dedication to meeting and exceeding customers’ needs has always been part of our corporate values and our highest priority.”
CMP’s other facilities in New York and North Carolina are scheduled for similar audits in early 2008.
